Dena Cooper is Hired to Recreate a Dated Budweiser Ad


Budweiser hires three female illustrators to reimagine their outdated ads from the 1950’s and 1960’s to be more representative of the modern woman.  In celebration of International Women’s Day, Dena Cooper is hired to recreate the dated concept of a woman serving her husband beer into a new scene where the same woman enjoys a beer with other women in her circle.  The ad campaign represents an inclusive message that everyone can enjoy Budweiser beer, regardless of gender, race, or station in life.  The artwork is being run as a double page ad in the New York Times on International Women’s Day in collaboration with #seeher to show women in more positive representations across the advertising industry.
